I have been sleeping like a baby. And no, I’m not taking a new supplement. No melatonin. No CBD.
When I came back from Hawaii, I was struggling with acclimating to the time change. It’s a 5 hour time difference, which is apparently just enough to throw my body out of whack.
Honestly, I have never had trouble falling asleep or staying asleep. I’ve never had to dip into any of the tools that I offer my new patients who struggle with this.
But a couple of weeks ago, I found myself wide awake at 11:30pm night after night and I was frustrated. I am a morning person and this was throwing my whole day off!
While in Hawaii, my husband and I were having a conversation with a friend about 432 Hz music and how it can positively affect sleep, anxiety, mood, stress, etc. I had never heard of this particular concept even though I knew of sound therapy. I thought it was fascinating and put it on my mental list of things to look into. You know, whenever I get a free minute. ha!
I love the synchronicity of the universe and how it puts people and conversations in your path at JUST THE RIGHT TIME.
I needed to hear that information because I was going to need it….soon.
After another day of waking up late, no time to work out, and dragging through my morning, I asked my husband to remind me about the music we were talking about on vacation.
I looked it up on YouTube and found a TON of videos with music set to this frequency. This is definitely a thing.
I put my headphones in and read about 20-30 pages on my kindle. My eyes grew heavy so I laid down with my headphones still in and I.fell.asleep. I woke up at some point in the middle of the night with the music still playing. I took my headphones off and fell right back to sleep.
Interesting, I thought.
I have done this now for a week or so and I am sleeping better than ever. I’m waking up at 5:00am ready to slay the day. I feel like my old self again.
Something I have also noticed is that I am remembering more of my book now since I have started listening to this music while reading.
I decided to do some research on 432 Hz and was blown away. This is a DEEP topic and I won’t bore you with all of the details but just know this…..
The earth is literally tuned into this frequency. It is considered the Earth’s heartbeat.
Take that in for a second.
It makes complete sense to me that if we spent more time attuned to the natural electromagnetic pulses of the earth (432 Hz), we would feel more centered, balanced, conscious, and peaceful.
I encourage you to try it out. Go into it with an open mind. Play 432 Hz music in the background at home while you clean or while your children play. Play it while you read or study, work, or lay in bed.
If you’re like me, you’ll notice feeling more relaxed and focused….and hopefully sleeping like a baby too.
